This is where windsurfing really starts to come alive. You'll start using smaller boards and larger sails using the power to get the board planing for the first time. You'll learn how to start to get into the footstraps, more harness work and be introduced to water starting.

What is this activity?
The 1 day, level 3 course takes you onto the next level. After polishing your skills learnt from the level 2 course we will help you learn the skills needed to windsurf in higher winds, including use of the footstraps, harness work and waterstarts. Windsurfing courses take place every day of the week and all year round weather permitting

All of our windsurfing courses are based in Poole Harbour, Dorset. Quite simply, this is one of the best places in the UK to learn to windsurf. With warm, shallow water and plenty of space, it's an ideal location to learn.
It's also pretty special if you're into your progressive sailing and freestyle too. The relatively flat water makes it a great place to learn to crack planing carve gybes for the first time. For those looking for the more glitzy freestyle moves, where better to slam into a big Vulcan or Spock but in front of the harbour wall where all your mates can check out your new moves!
