What is this activity?
If you're new to windsurfing, this is the ideal course. It's made up of two, three hours sessions and is a great introduction to windsurfing and covers all the basics. The course starts with tuition on a dry land simulator and moves on to trying out the sport for real in Poole Harbour. At the end with luck you'll be ready to move on to our development courses.

All of our windsurfing courses are based in Poole Harbour, Dorset. Quite simply, this is one of the best places in the UK to learn to windsurf. With warm, shallow water and plenty of space, it's an ideal location to learn.
It's also pretty special if you're into your progressive sailing and freestyle too. The relatively flat water makes it a great place to learn to crack planing carve gybes for the first time. For those looking for the more glitzy freestyle moves, where better to slam into a big Vulcan or Spock but in front of the harbour wall where all your mates can check out your new moves!
