Overview
What is this activity?
Based in the breathtaking Poole Harbour with the Jurassic Coastline on its doorstep, our windsurfing experience is tough to beat. Harness natures strongest elements and glide effortlessly across Poole Harbour with guidance from our top instructors. The half day beginner session is a fantastic experience for the complete beginner, teaching all of the basics of board riding under expert tuition in the safety of the world’s second largest natural harbour.
Clients will be given a safety introduction and will receive tuition both on land and on the water by a fully qualified Wind Surfing Instructor.
Who is this activity for/experience needed
- No prior experience needed. Full training provided
When does it run/availability
- Regular lessons available daily, we advise allowing at least 1 weeks’ notice
- Available March all year round, seven days a week. (Weather permitting)
- Lasts approximately 4 Hours
- Flexible times from morning to evenings available
What do I need to bring?
- All equipment provided including wetsuit just bring swimwear and a towel
Restrictions
- Weather dependent activity as wind is required, high winds may also restrict the activity.

Location
All of our windsurfing courses are based in Poole Harbour, Dorset. Quite simply, this is one of the best places in the UK to learn to windsurf. With warm, shallow water and plenty of space, it's an ideal location to learn.
It's also pretty special if you're into your progressive sailing and freestyle too. The relatively flat water makes it a great place to learn to crack planing carve gybes for the first time. For those looking for the more glitzy freestyle moves, where better to slam into a big Vulcan or Spock but in front of the harbour wall where all your mates can check out your new moves!
