Sea kayaking - round Brownsea Island

What is this activity?

Our kayak tours are something special. Whether you do another active sport and just want time out to see Poole Harbour in a totally different way or want to get into your kayaking, this is a great way to try the sport out. If you're brave, bring a camera along to capture some memories from the day, but remember to keep it in a waterproof bag or risk the consequences. After all this is not a stay-dry sport!

We use a BCU qualified instructor as a guide and supply all the equipment needed, but if you have your own please bring it. Our 'sit on top' touring kayaks are so easy to use you need no experience, single or two seaters are available. We can also supply Stand up Paddleboards for use on the tours. All tours include regular breaks.

Who is this activity for/experience needed

Group Sizes

• 3 people plus can choose the time and date of their own tour (1 weeks notice ideal)
• Groups of 1-2 people will have to join in with another tour as the minimum group size is 3 people.  Dates and availability will be subject to joining another existing tour.

When does it run/availability

• Tours run several times a week, morning and afternoon. Normally available given 1-2 weeks notice.  The voucher validity is 6 months so you have plenty of time to arrange a convenient tour.
• Available all year round, seven days a week. (Weather permitting)
• Lasts approximately 2.5 Hours
• Flexible times from morning to evenings available

What do I need to bring?

• All equipment provided including wetsuits if required, just bring swimwear and a towel

 Restrictions

• Weather dependent activity, dependant on tides and water conditions on the day

What to do next?
