Sea kayaking - 1 day adventure in Dorset

These sessions take place in Studland Bay.  You must have completed the 3 hour Introduction to Sea Kayaking on the Beaulieu River nature reserve, where you will have picked up skills on boat handling, steering, Capsize and rescue. Or have the equivalent experience in Sea Kayaks. You can then further these skills on the beautiful Jurassic coast on a journey around Old Harry Rocks, exploring caves along the way (weather and sea condition permitting) or take a journey around Poole Harbour and a trip around Brown Sea Island.

All equipment provided.

Who it's for

The course is ideal for those who have previous experience in Sea Kayaks.  You must have completed the 3 hour Introductory course or similar to go on this trip.

When does it run/availability

• The course runs several times a week. Normally available given 1-2 weeks notice.
• Available March - November (Weather permitting)
• From 09.00am - 17.00pm

What you'll need

We supply all the equipment you require. Bring along warm layers to paddle in, fleece material and wool are the best. Snacks and a drink to keep energy levels up, and hats and sun cream if it's a hot day.

• You must have completed the introductory course or have relevant experience before booking this course.
• Weather dependent activity, dependant on tides and water conditions on the day
