Sea kayaking - intro course PLUS Dorset day trip

TThe introductory lesson takes place in Beaulieu River Nature Reserve and the 1 day adventure takes place in the Studland Bay, Poole.  

Introduction to sea kayaking - 3 Hours - Part 1

A trip on Beaulieu River is a fantastic introduction to sea kayaking, set in the glorious surroundings of a site of special scientific interest nature reserve. This 3 hour course is our entry level trip and with lots of opportunity for coaching and practicing your capsizing and rescues.

Day Trip Adventure - 1 Day - Part 2

You can then further these skills on the beautiful Jurassic coast on a journey around Old Harry Rocks, exploring caves along the way (weather and sea condition permitting) or take a journey around Poole Harbour and a trip around Brown Sea Island.

All equipment provided.

When does it run/availability

• The course runs several times a week. Normally available given 1-2 weeks notice.
• Available March - November. (Weather permitting)
• From 09.00am - 17.00pm

What you'll need

We supply all the equipment you require. Bring along warm layers to paddle in, fleece material and wool are the best. Snacks and a drink to keep energy levels up, and hats and sun cream if it's a hot day.

• Weather dependent activity, dependant on tides and water conditions on the day
• Over 16's Only
