Want to try out sea kayaking but not sure how to start? We have a superb 3 hour introductory course that takes place on the Beaulieu River in Hampshire.
It covers all the basic skills you need to learn including capsize and rescue. The scenery is stunning and the environment is ideal to learn how to kayak safely before setting out on your big adventures.

A trip on Beaulieu River is a fantastic introduction to sea kayaking, set in the glorious surroundings of a site of special scientific interest nature reserve. This 3 hour course is our entry level trip and with lots of opportunity for coaching and practicing your capsizing and rescues.

What you'll need
We supply all the equipment you require. Bring along warm layers to paddle in, fleece material and wool are the best. Snacks and a drink to keep energy levels up, and hats and sun cream if it's a hot day.

This kayak course is based on the calm waters of Beaulieu river not far from Southampton making it an ideal location to learn to kayak. The area is a site of special scientific interest which means that you should be able to get a bit of wildlife spotting in while you're paddling down the river.
