Mountain biking beginner day

What is this activity?

Our beginner mountain bike days are designed to be fun, social and helpful. The day gives you a great introduction to mountain biking offroad and the highly experienced and qualified instructors love helping you out by offering a few hints and tips to improve your mountain bike riding style. Before you know it an easy day out will involve a bit of confident downhilling as your confidence grows and grows.

What you can expect from a typical day out:

• Introduction- coffee, a quick brief of the day, general chat and equipment check
• Morning- set off on chosen route and we can assess skill levels and abilities whilst riding
• Lunch- at a venue of your or our choice
• Afternoon- more riding with skills sessions, trailside repairs etc
• A visit to the local pub (if required!)
• Finish off ride with beer, cake and final debrief (including bike clean down)

• No experience required

When does it run/availability

• Courses are available 7 days a week, allow at least  1 weeks booking notice
• Available all year round, seven days a week. (Weather permitting)
• Lasts approximately 6-8 Hours
• Flexible times from morning to evenings available

What you need to bring along

• You'll need to bring your own bike along together with suitable clothing for a day out biking in the countryside. It's also important to bring some water and a few energy bars to keep you going if the hills feel a bit steep at times!

 What to do next?
